"Fractured Reflections" is an art collection that delves into the realms of oddities, mental health, and the beauty found within imperfections. This captivating series of six abstract portraits, each adorned with a mesmerising glitch effect, aims to challenge conventional notions of beauty and provoke introspection about the complexities of the human mind. Each portrait in the "Fractured Reflections" collection is a visual representation of the enigmatic, yet beautiful, aspects of human existence. By combining abstract art with glitch effects, the collection sparks dialogue about oddities, mental health, imperfections, and the complexities of the human condition, leaving a lasting impression on all who encounter it.
Who am I? That is a rather difficult question for me. Probably, I am a person whom I know least of all and whom I would like to discover so much, although sometimes it is insanely painful.
Probably, my attempts to understand myself are never going to end. Perhaps self-digging is such a peculiar art and striving for perfection, when a person, layer by layer, is looking for new versions of himself in order to improve, to reach something new, for new experiences and enrichment of the inner world.
Painting and art in general are certainly supportive in my search. Through contemporary abstract and figurative art, I explore the inner world of a person, feelings, emotions, the primordial wildness of his or her nature, instincts, knowledge, and acceptance. I am interested in studying my inner world and the ways it manifests itself.
While painting I learn to understand myself and my feelings, desires, accept myself, my fears, become more self-confident than ever before. Perhaps because of this, I manage to forget about my problems. Painting is like therapy.
I want my paintings to enable others to reflect on themselves over and over again, so that people find answers to their questions or ask new questions.
I grew up and live in Odessa. I travel a lot and was lucky to live in other cities and countries such as Barcelona, Dubai, Bahamas, Miami, which certainly influenced my creative development.
The sources of my inspiration are the people around me, myself, feelings, places, fashion, wildlife, architecture and design, the visual aesthetics of the world.
Nothing brings more ecstasy than victory over oneself. Reaching new personal heights is incredibly inspiring. I am delighted with myself when I conquer myself.
