This three part series is from when I was just finishing an image brush program in Processing. The colors are meant to evoke the sense of familiar places that you only saw as a child, and only in passing. It's funny how a palette or texture or just a gesture can call to memory things like that without ever being a concrete image, or even knowing which place it actually was.
