The film 'Blade Runner' I felt was a refreshing new genre It's influenced many science fiction films, video games, anime, to numerous television series. It brought the work of Philip K. Dick to the attention of Hollywood, as he went on to direct numerous top related films.
I was engaged by this future of flying vehicles roaming above an Asian kind of big city center look, full of vivid neon colour forms & multi-advertising billboards.
It was my subconscious that had me continue to work on this sci-fi inspired Art. I found it fun creating a scene of a flying police vehicle on evening shift, looking out for Aliens & other strange things in the narrow streets at night.
