In our fast and furious pace of relentless growth, changes, expansion and transformation in Singapore, nothing lasts forever. Over the years, in my personal projects documenting and photographing places, landmarks in Singapore. I was able to capture them down in memories through my photographs and documentation.

This is Rochor Centre, one of the first mixed public housing flats, along with commercial retail units and communal space in this neighbourhood. Over time, with future national developments coming up in the area, Rochor Centre had to make way for them.

I would never forget this scene and moment, as I was photographing the buildings architecture from the third floor, the pigeons were startled and started flying up and away into the sky.

Now, this is history. That's why I am documenting places before they are gone.
