The Clifford torus is a torus in the hypersphere which has no curvature. Stereographically projecting down to 3-dimensional space produces something that looks like a standard torus – and in particular, like all tori in 3-space, has curvature. This animation demonstrates the distorting effects of stereographic projection on shapes: up in the hypersphere, all of the little spheres are congruent and uniformly spaced.
