I created this piece in February 2019 to commemorate the Chinese Lunar New Year, which is the year of the pig. I always use textures and bold colors in my illustrations, and for this one, I decided to use colors that are often used in Chinese drawings and traditions like red and orange, and pink, the color of pigs.
