Richard F. Yates is an artist, writer, poet, editor, cartoonist, and DJ who lives in the Northwestern United States. (In the Great Pacific Northwet!) He is married to a licensed dispensing optician and has two grown-ass daughters, who have very little patience for their father's "weirdness." He writes strange short stories, book and movie reviews, and the occasional poem / rant / manifesto (they're all the same thing, really...,) and he spends a great deal of time making digital art, usually based on ink or pencil drawings on found paper or cardboard, which he then manipulates, embellishes, and (sometimes) colors in a freeware graphics program. He is economically poor, physically condemned, but psychologically comfortable (with a spiritual net worth of approximately 74.4 million dream tokens.) He hopes to someday start his own cult and, perhaps, buy a pinball machine...
