A house, but more than a house a home, of someone who found a place to raise four walls and live under a roof. The height of the house is reminiscent of the old houses that were built in the Caribbean in the days when the big banana trees arrived and created a town in the middle of nowhere. The piles, as they are called the supports of the houses had as a function to prevent the water from getting in every time the great river overflowed by the constant rains of the Atlantic zone, rains that helped, among other things, to refresh a little the environment of intense heat of the Caribbean, where my grandparents grew up.
