I love the painterly quality and the merging with what I see as arid landscape and all its elementals. Tans and ochres, black and white.

Maybe because just north of Sydney lots of different bushfires have been breaking out and it's nowhere near the usual bushfire season yet, that I also see fire elementals at play in your work: Red and black.

Stunning image Jarid. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

Lovely work...... Jarid.

This work comes across as a classic oil portrait executed in a contemporary fashion.....well done. The colours, shapes, scale and textures are captivating.

All the best.

Cheers!

Wow Jarid !! This is beyond words. The palette enhances the eyes and makes it look like a snapshot caught in between the transition.the texture reminds me of that found in insects ( cockroach *shudders*)...I just love it ... love it as long as I can separate it in my mind from the cockroach .. (think happy thoughts and pretty insects **)

Wow Jarid, you have taken my breath away !! Fantastic textures composition. There is reflected all the sadness and disappointment that Gregor Samsa feels. I love it!!
