During Frida’s marriage to Diego Rivera, she had several extramarital affairs with both men and women. Frida was openly bisexual. Some of the women Frida is said to have had affairs with are: entertainer Josephine Baker (she's on the top of the white shell in my painting), painter Georgia O'Keeffe, Mexican film actress Dolores del Río, American actress Paulette Goddard and French painter Jacqueline Lamba. She also had a secret affair with Leon Trotsky.
