This isn't a random artwork with a random concept. It's based on a fascinating observation. This piece is a dramatic portrayal a very specific, commonly shared human experience of trying to go after a ping pong ball. One might say embarrassing, and others might say torture. Kick it by accident and it flies further away. Worse, it ends up under a table and one has to crawl. And then there are the beautiful moments in which you actually catch it right away. I made this artwork to highlight the idea of universal human experiences, the way we all experience the same funny moments, and feel the same feelings towards one thing. Humans are weird, aren't we?
