Showdeer is the digital design moniker of myself, artist Chris Bigalke. The obsession with digital art started with MS Paint in the mid 90s as a teenager, then Photoshop on a Power Mac G4 in 2006 and since then, PS on Macbook Pro and now Procreate on iPad Pro. In 2013 I was able to quit my day job and accomplish my lifelong dream of becoming a full-time freelance artist. This has been my wonderful life for the last 8 years. Creating digital art as a job started in 2008 by designing gig posters in Portland, Oregon for local bands as well as national acts like Wilco, Guided By Voices and Built To Spill and artwork for corporate clients including Red Bull, Pabst and Universal.

Currently I am designing and illustrating artwork on Procreate for fun, while I sometimes design beer labels for breweries, and focus on painting physical pop surreal pieces in studio for collectors and galleries worldwide as well as now diving into the NFT scene.
