"Kurt Cobain connects with his friend Matt Lukin of Mudhoney, who he had known from the small town of Aberdeen, Washington.

Nirvana was the first band of the night to play the sold out, 2000 capacity Astoria Theatre in London. TAD performed second, and Mudhoney headlined.

This Grunge micro-history, one dramatic week in the life of Nirvana, was documented by Bruce Pavitt, the founder of Seattle's Sub Pop, the record label that first discovered Nirvana, Soundgarden and Mudhoney.
