The work SPACECRAFT reproduces a dynamic feeling and acts as a catalyst for my own life experience.

Oriented towards a "hyper aesthetic" abstraction, I usually highlight with some emphasis the use of color as a leitmotif, as it always appears in my work as a reverberation, or structure, like a "mirror landscape" loaded with evocation of my own visual memory.

In this work I reflect a certain plastic forcefulness, collected in the trace of the gesture, with notable references to nature and a more sophisticated urban language.

The central architectural structure is a metaphor for a "stairway" to heaven, hence the title of Spaceship. An invitation to the imagination and to combine two worlds, that of abstraction and figuration.

My last years are marked by a more alchemical way of researching and producing my work. A constant link and balance between the traditional and the industrial can be seen in some projects, almost becoming a "hybrid". Especially when I have used methacrylate, aluminum, enamels and industrial chloroform, as a support or binder for the pigment.

I think that this binomial "enshrines" a certain hallmark in my career and way of understanding the plastic. With an abstraction that aims to show the "frozen" pictorial gesture, like a frame (pictorial, dynamic and captured movement), on the surface. Or as I love to say, "the crystallization of the pictorial ."

All this forms a great balanced orchestration and celebration of painting, of plastic. ( bloom/birth of freedom ), a tribute universe that connects with the subjectivist spirit of that New York school that made painting an event in itself.
