We have waited for Autumn forever. Survived the dog days, the crisp grass, the dry, dry heat. The cones release their seeds. They have help. Once freed they fall, winged, spiraling towards the forest floor a long, long, long way down. The rains call out the bird's nest fungus and the unfurling of the forest floor. What's been stored within us, a hope we've clung to, reverses itself, spins and nestles in for winter.

I love the way you are slowly building up the series - it has a mystical air to it ...This reminds me of the bulbs in my garden that flower in spring and live through summer and then go dormant .. I thought they died and I cut off the leaves and then voila in spring I see that tiny shoot ... I never have been so delightfully surprised in my life ... true it is like that hope that lies dormant and then something triggers it to make it unfurl ...

Ah, The Four Seasons. A classic theme, well illustrated and full of nostalgia for seasons passed. Love the emotions that your description evokes, as well.

Each week that woman approaches us, spectators of this intimate, intimate path, where she cradles us and cradles each other. It is protected from the cold, perhaps it is tired but it still shows us strength and the decision that there is neither season nor landscape to destroy it. She has the seed of hope, love and art. The artist and her creation come together in the same song.

I feel like there is a lot of emotion put into this piece. I had to watch it repeat several times in order to catch all the details. Really loving the invoking nature of it. Love it Ruth!

This has the most symbolic meaning of anything I’ve shared in years, so thank you for seeing that. I didn’t want it to be in your face obvious, but findable. Thank you for looking, Jarid!
