This piece was done to show what colors would look like while falling into a black hole, as well as to show the shadow of someone permanently disconnecting from their consciousness. On the left you have the event horizon of the black hole where the slope of spacetime has become asymptotic and light can no longer escape. The farther right you go the warmer the colors get, as the wavelength of the light is stretched when things fall towards a dense mass such as a black hole, so the light is seen as 'shifted' towards the red part of the spectrum. The black orb on the righthand side of the shadow being is not the black hole, but serves as a relative distraction between the shadow and it that would hinder the conscious self from being aware that the shadow self is falling into the black hole. This black orb could be our addiction to substances, objects, or anything else that distracts us from our conscious thoughts. The black hole could be representative of someone who is becoming more divided with their subconscious, and losing touch with their observations on life's purpose. When the shadow being crosses the event horizon, all hope is lost for the light being to attain enlightenment, and the complete being as light + shadow, us collectively as people, are stuck in the cycle of life and death until the complete collapse and disappearance of the universe from the non-spatial aether.
