"Traveling in my house 1", is part of the "Free City" series. In this series I propose to decentralize the structure and the very idea of today's cities, which are increasingly large, overcrowded, polluting and difficult to maintain.
Thanks to the development of new technologies in the field of alternative energies and engineering in general, it is increasingly possible to build self-sustaining houses that can be located almost anywhere, adapting to different geographical and climatic characteristics.
I think that one of the lessons that the current pandemic has taught us has been learning how to interact, work, make art and how to be together even from a distance.
These mobile homes in the form of teapots or coffee pots are part of the symbology that I have used in my work to deal with issues such as human survival and the relationship between man and his most necessary belongings (how he inhabits them and is inhabited by them).
Starting from traditional charcoal drawings, I recreate and paint digitally, to later add sound and movement.
