Once upon a midnight sky,
the wind carried a tune.
The sound of sobs caressed my ears,
beneath a swollen moon.

The sound of sobs caressed my ears,
beneath a swollen moon.

For whom is crying these salty tears,
and why are they in pain?
Are they alone, and struggling,
do they need a friend to gain?

A shoulder, they might beg to have,
if a shoulder should appear.
A comfort known to many,
it helps allay their fears.

But what I find, around the bend,
is not what I thought I’d see.
I stare in awe, afraid to move,
as she reaches out for me.

Lying there, before my eyes,
a human, she is not.
Black wings appear, behind her back,
the fallen angel of my heart.

Thank so much for your kind words. And yes I sure want to but the pressure is so high on ETH at the moment it is really making it had to post anything on mp. So the short answer is yes, but it's out my hands I am sad to say.
