Brother of Agamemnon & Trojan War instigator, this piece focuses on the element of Menelaus' mythos and contradiction. Igniting the Trojan War because his Helen of Troy had gone missing(she ran off [kidnapped?] by Paris), Menelaus and his brother rose a fleet of ship for the return of Helen.

Menelaus was said to be one of the 8 Greeks inside the Trojan Horse during Troy's sacking. Upon seeing Helen his vow to kill her and origin of the war seems to be contradictory when he drops his blade and has various claims of 'punishing her back in Sparta' or 'falling before her beauty'.

Believing his own motives to be true to soul Menelaus seems to have become a cold stone warrior with an incredibly tangled, confused, malleable core. A man confused by lust and an army to follow, is it reason to wage war because your lover went 'missing' ?
