James Gardner grew up in Claremore, Oklahoma close to his Native American roots. He was blessed with the opportunity to be saturated in his heritage. Being exposed to American Indian art and culture spawned his desire to pursue a creative career. He spent five years overseas rediscovering himself, designing sets for operas, uncovering creative outlets, meeting artists/friends, learning new languages, and expanding his cultural perspectives. After careful consideration, he switched his career focus into the digital realm. Discovering motion design pushed him to obtain a BFA in Motion Design from Ringling College of Art & Design. This has allowed James to dive deeper into the process of visualizing his imaginative stories through concept, design and animation. James utilizes a mix of Cinema 4D, Houdini, Xparticles, Substance Painter, Zbrush, and After Effects for his creations.
