MONOX DesignLAB - I am a creative explorer, who has discovered many truths about the nature of business, people and technology and how creativity is the glue that sticks it all together. On this journey I have learned that people’s needs are ever changing to fit with their current life demands, and that we as creatives have a responsibility to design products and campaigns that are useful to people. I studied design introduction at The London Design School - London, and obtained a BA degree in design at Midrand University in conjunction with Santa Monica College. My professional journey started at TBWA Gavin Reddy, which progressed to, Herdbouys McCann Erickson, Draft FCB, DSGN, DDB and The Creative Counsel (Publicis). At all of these agencies I played a front line creative role in branding design and trough-the-line advertising campaigns on media ranging from digital, TV production, brand design to social media campaigns done for blue chip companies who include, Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Diageo, Vodacom, FNB, Toyota, Edcon, Nissan, SAA, and Huawei among others. At these agencies I worked in creative teams to develop many awarded campaigns for brands that truly engage consumers, changing the way they act and transact. In 2008 I left the advertising arena to further progress my design skills within the interior architecture industry. I worked for dsgn.co.za as a design understudy for 4 years. I stated my own design business in Angola with a local partner in the property development market. I have always loved the freedom of running my own concepts and ideas out, however geological limitations meant that many of my work pieces have not made it though the development stages. I would like to use this portal to reach out and garner a new audience.
