Root is the essence of a growth and development. I am a man who grew from the roots as well, that is, both of my parents. There is the term "The fruit does not fall far from the tree". But the fruit can not choose its own decisions, different from me as a human. Maybe people think I shouldn't stay away from my parents' life, like in the same kind of job or way of life. I choose to be free from that.
This work depicts me communicating with my parents, sitting on a chair wrapped in roots, and having a complicated conversation with them. While I know that their affection is as soft as cotton cloth. I tried to explain that I chose to be responsible for all of my decisions.

Very touching and relatable. While the fruit does not fall far from the tree, we are also life ‘s arrows that are shot from our parents bows following our destiny. Everything is a balance and remembering roots does not mean tied to a location .. it also means that you fly but know there is a path back which will always welcome you.
Thank you Indrani. And thanks for another proverb that you share here. I hope the feathers on that arrow help them to shot into their own destiny.
I hope so too especially in these times when you can’t help but be protective 😊
Very healing, love it!
