Recently I’ve tried a new approach to my glitch art, yielding interesting results. By far the majority of my work up until this point has focused on taking existing works of art and glitching them, creating entirely new images. The level of glitch applied to those images has been somewhat minimal and controlled, since I wanted some remnant of the original image to be discernible. With this work I took a very different approach, starting with nothing more than a “dot,”actually a purple ball on a field of textured white, and applied more glitch technology than I might normally use. I’m quite happy with the colorful, “abstract expressionist”-result, and I am very pleased to offer this work in a limited edition at Makers Place. The gallery preview hardly does it justice!
