'Sugar Skull' was created in celebration of Dia de los Muertos and represents 'Ofrenda'.

Ofrendas are an essential part of the Day of the Dead celebrations. The word ofrenda means offering in Spanish. They are also called altares or altars, but they are not for worship. Ofrendas are set up to remember and honour the memory of the ancestors.

This particular one is decorated with flowers & a sugar skull wearing a head piece of marigolds. Water in the background is the offering to thirsty souls visiting from the land of the dead.

Primary sale comes with a 60 x 73 cm framed oil painting.
