My daughter was growing some crystals at home as part of a science experiment and they looked amazing with backlighting. I shot this image in my home studio with the Sigma 105mm macro lens and 65mm of extension tubes. The lighting was created by backlighting the crystal with a red-gelled snoot on a speedlite.
