According to a Greek myth there were complete creatures that had 4 legs and 4 arms and could be: male-male; male-female or female-female. Since they were rude, Zeus decided to cut them in half and, since then, every human being has been looking for his half to return to being complete. Your work makes me think of this Greek myth.
