Google "Satoshi Nakamoto" and the results will take you straight to image after image of an elderly Asian man. He is Dorian S. Nakamoto, called "Satoshi Nakamoto" at birth. He is around 70 years old, lives in Los Angeles with his mother and, as he has said hundreds of times, is not the creator of Bitcoin.
In 2014, Newsweek journalist Leah Goodman published an article highlighting the identity of the Bitcoin creator in Nakamoto due to his high-profile work in engineering and his private personal life.
Following the publication , Nakamoto was trolled.Nakamoto said he had only heard about Bitcoin weeks earlier, when Goodman had contacted him about the Newsweek story.
And Satoshi's username mysteriously appeared on an online forum to post, "I am not Dorian Nakamoto."
Bitcoin today is much bigger than the figure of Satoshi Nakamoto. It no longer matters little who he is to many. Its initial code has been improved thanks to the efforts of some of the best brains on the planet working collaboratively.
