Aethernis appeared from a time when all of Eghelion's land was still covered with a blue forest, it was born of moonlight and star dust. He is one of the most famous and respected inhabitants of the Magic Forest.

Despite its enormous size, it moves efficiently over long distances, it hovers at a low height surrounded by its entourage.

Aethernis is no ordinary messenger, he visits the kingdoms of Eghelion once a year, bringing them prophecies of the Holy Trees.
