This piece was done as a visual for the structure of what encapsulates the universe (more specifically the multiverse), as an infinitely large building made of glass. Each room represents a different universe, into which you can see through the walls. The walls represent the multiversal void (the space in between universes). Going into each room, you exit the universe you once were in and enter a new universe, but because there are no doors, each universe is a continuum of every other universe with slightly different variations, even up into things that can’t be conceived by human imagination, and this continuum of universes results in time. How I see time, it is a physical axis of space, and every slightly different universal room in the architecture of the multiverse is an infinitely small moment. Depending on which rooms we enter (which is decided by the choices we make in life), that will determine the life that we experience.
The light being in the story of this piece is looking through a glass wall into a different universe that surrounds a glowing orb of enlightenment, hoping that it will hold the answers to their questions, or be the reality of not needing any answers as a function of enlightenment. The journey itself to catch this glowing ball is a failed one, as the ball is made of the same light as the light being. The light being essentially chases after himself, and the ball drifts away as if it had a repulsive nature to it, as in the case of yin and yang. If only the light being would walk into the wall (void) and accept his true nature, the light would equally distribute throughout the glass and the idea of the light being would disappear. This can be looked at as an escape from Saṃsāra, or the cycle of death and rebirth; how we as humans reach into the void is unknown, it is up to each of us individually to find out what our own void is and enter it. Without the light being, the glowing orb of light enters into the void and merges with the structure of the universe the same way that he did because they are one and the same, but under an illusion of polarity and separateness.
