Found in a remote bay in the south of Western Australia lies a wave named Evils. Raw Indian Ocean swells drain off a razor sharp barnacle encrusted granite shelf, creating some of the most spectacular wave shapes found in the region. Due its extreme danger from its isolation, sharks, extreme rip currents, barnacles and granite shelf, combined with the immense power of Indian ocean swells, only a handful of people have shot this wave, making imagery from here very rare. Evils, whilst a wave that makes evokes a huge amount of fear to experience, creates exquisite artistic shapes of water like the symmetrical form displayed in this beautiful moment. A wave that makes me feel very alive when I am out here and grateful when I make it back to land safely.
