I've picked this old sketch made back in 2018 as a Birthday present for my friend and co-author Rossy.
The character design changed drastically after that, which resulted in making a completely different painting. But after a while I stumbled upon the old sketch that really inspired me to finish it.
Lain Spell is my friend's OC, the blurry image of the female in front of him is none other than Phery Mallory. Her design was shared a while ago on MakersPlace and makes an interesting continuation. This might turn into series of paintings depicting scenes from the first book.
Both characters belong to The Inexplicit project made by my friend and me.
