what I've lost, what I've gained...
Like scattered emotions
they all look the same..."
This is an old portrait of a character from The Inexplicit project my colleague and I have been working on. Her name is Amarilis and appears in a secondary story. Despite her fragile and elegant appearance, just like the her name, she possesses strength, determination, beauty, and love.
The Greek name also means 'to sparkle' which was the core idea behind the particle effect that was added later.
The painting was done in Adobe Photohop back in 2017.
Animation was finished in Adobe After Effects couple of weeks ago.
