¨Surprise¨ is a childhood memory of the moments before my birthdays, a memory that I treasure a lot.

As a kid, my parents always celebrated my birthdays with a big party inviting all my elementary school friends. My family, that lived in a different city, traveled to my hometown, to be with me on this special day.

The big day was about to start. Surrounded with balloons and beautiful decorations, I remember me waiting in the patio while my parents were inside in the house preparing everything. I was there just observing how pretty everything looked, thinking how I was going to have the best day of my life!
