My name is Guillem H. Pongiluppi, born in 1981.

I am a Digital Illustrator and Concept Artist from Barcelona. I have been working as a digital artist since 2004.

Ever since I was a child, I had always dreamed of working in the film industry. However, on finishing my film direction studies and beginning my professional career, I quickly realised I didn’t like the work, and my dreams were shattered.

It was then that I had an epiphany, with the most logical of conclusions – Illustration, as long as I can remember, has always been a passion of mine. During my studies, I also took classes at the Joso comic school in Barcelona just for fun. It made me think…

Why shouldn’t I turn my hobby into my profession?

And so I started working as a historical illustrator, and transitioned from classic illustration to digital. Having to teach myself all the new technologies was both difficult and exciting.

And after a few years working for magazines, museums and history books, it was time to fulfil another dream of mine: to begin a career as a Concept Artist in the film industry. Cinema and illustration at the same time.

In just the last few years alone, I have had the pleasure to work for such companies as Industrial Light & Magic, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Quantic Dream, Netflix, Mythic Games and National Geographic.

No matter whether it is for movies, television shows, video games or board games, what I’m really passionate about is telling little static stories framed in a frame without movement.
