In my search for the esoteric tradition I found myself investigating the original traditions of my country. The Wixarika people (Huichol) have in their tradition the figure of the Mara'kame. The Mara'kame is the one who has the power to heal the body and soul, can see and participate in both physical and spiritual worlds. And coincidentally with other esoteric traditions, one of its most important symbols is the two-headed eagle.

Don José Matsuwa was one of the most famous Mara'kame.
