It Moves Inside You, It Stays Inside You

The milkmaid blossoms and we know. For want of being found, rites of spring. United, we are standing. We are part of something else and larger than ourselves. “Drink deep, it's just a taste, and it might not come this way again, I believe in moments, transparent moment, moments in grace when you've got to stake your faith It moves outside you, it stays inside you, And it's not something that I could prove, Or could chose, to be moved. Yes it's a promise, and it's a threat, And it's not something that I'll let you for get, Not just yet, not just yet If it's not the rule then it's always the case, Good intentions get fractured, good intentions get replaced....”Drink Deep/Rites of Spring

I love the perspective you have given us in your artwork Ruth: Of looking up to see the massive strength that these old pines still have. Of our love for our trees: Of our need to do all we still can to protect our forests and wild places from further extinction.

The tree of life, that oxygen we all need, that generates life. These trees are increasingly extinct and cry out for mercy. The earth is running out of lungs ... A beautiful creation that makes me sad because I feel or perceive that it invokes reflection, respect ...
Wow !! It seems something alive breathing under the sunlight, I feel like my own breathing accompanying the movement of the image that it becoming difficult due to the oppressive heat. I love it Ruth!
I love how this makes me feel. I find myself breathing in time to the tree. Mesmerizing and enchanting. Good job, Ruth. I’m going to share this to Facebook.
This reminds of a forest trail I hike here in Woodstock, New York. The path winds along a mountain creek to an opening in the woods. At that place there is a very old giant pine tree that is so majestic and seems alive. I can feel the tree's energy as if it is talking to me. This is a lovely piece! Thanks for creating it!
