This painting, as with most of my paintings, seem to be an outlet for me to convey a feeling of calm in the intensity of life. I aim to portray the threatening aspects of life as objects that we chose to give power to, or just observe with quiet curiosity. I learn a lot about myself through trying to create a balance between terror and peace. These pieces are the result of that exploration in myself.
