Very nicely done...
Thank you :)
Certainly there could be nothing else, the swans must be there and the sparkles of light leading them on their way. I love it Indrani.
Yes.. absolutely :).. thank you Maria !
Wow again :) thats how C-Beams must look like. Those birds look so majestic... awesome
Thank you MJ. Appreciate your comments . Lol.. I love that you referenced C-Beams here. That is a contrasting possibility and I can write on and on about it but thank you :).
Oh my goodness, how I LOVE this one! You may know what a huge fan of birds I am and your swan song is so lovely.
Thank you Ruth. I wanted to do a cloud shrouded mountain but when I was sketching - it looked empty and called for these majestic winged creatures.
❤️❤️❤️
My God, how wonderful, the truth is that every comment I make in your creations moves me. I have been a faithful spectator, I have continued on my way to try to meet and love all of us who have participated in this 7-week challenge even through the distance. You know that I learned to love you, to admire you and that I have fully enjoyed each of your proposals. This is really sublime, conclusive, full of peace, of magic. I take your moon, your women, your stars, your rain, your cat and now your swans I feel lucky. Thank you for creating each of your works, I will miss them.
Thank you Norma. You have been a wonderful friend and support and sometimes when I felt I probably could not make it, I would come in and see these wondeful creations and get the energy to go back and create something. I think part of what attracts me to water colors is that they have a mind of their own and if you try to harness them too strongly , they do not respond well :)
Basho is one of my favourite poets. This painting illustrates the essence of his poems perfectly.
Thank you Mike. Yes , his poems are sublime and makes you want to stay still for a while and think and feel.
This might be my favorite piece of the whole series. What an amazing way to end it. The background is BEAUTIFUL!!! I love the small details of the trees and and the coloration of the mountains behind them. The texture of the paper also adds a lot or rich character. Makes me want to go on a night flight with the birds. Just lovely Mitrai!
Thank you Jarid. I can sit and watch the colors spread and interact all day long. It mesmerizes me , the spreads , the shapes and the textures. I used to be a very controlled person with brush but doing this series has allowed me to let it work the way it would and a lot of it because of all of you - the encouragement and the faith - so thank you.
The white lines in the trees and clouds show your uniqueness and talent while the watercolor and poem causes one to ask: Is this Goose Heaven? Thanks for sharing.
Probably! Thank you :)
What lovely artwork Indrani Mitra.
The viewer can fly with the swans over this splendid landscape......enchanting!
Wishing you all the best.
Cheers!
:)
Thank you Bluejay !
