The first collaboration of Mexico city-based artists Mr. Monk and Carlos Marcial invites the on-looker to engage in an act of contemplation of the Mexican desert rendered using 3D. The name of the artwork means silence in Spanish and alludes to the almost absolute silence that can only be experienced inside a desert. Mr. Monk's impeccable rendering of the mythic Quetzalcoatl in a perfect eternal return is amplified by the techniques used to achieve these perfect looping GIFs. There is a silent scream in the stylistic combination of these two members of the first Mexican Crypto Art community and collective that can only be heard through the practice of silence.
