On my long journey as visual artist I was studying the perception of visual content, including testing the limits of perception, the limits of our brain capacity and the effects of abstract visual overload and the way our brains interpolates visual attractors. In the early 1990s I created a 35 minute animation video titled "searching for maximum" to evaluate the limits of our brain and to study the interpolation routines of our brains in a state of visual overload. fractal star strobe was created 2005 with Ultra Fractal software and shows the hypnotizing effects of so called "smart-strobes".
