In Babylonian Mythology, Succoth Benoth is an unknown deity, such that ‘succoth benoth’ is not necessarily a name, but a description of a place where impure women would allow themselves to be subject to rituals. As a forgotten goddess, she is mentioned in the Bible (see 2 Kings 17:30) as a man-made idol along with other false gods created by groups of people from different cities in ancient West Asia. In Judaic literature (i.e. Talmud), on the other hand, she is associated with the concept of a 'Hen with her Chicks'—thus, a symbol of motherhood.
