Donna Davis is a painter and digital artist. She splits her time between the New England coast and London. Both places influence her work in subtle ways.
Animals and the female form are prevalent in her work. The concept of the narrative in painting is always uppermost in her creations. Hoping to create an interplay between viewer and painted characters. The artist says:
" I love 'story' in my work. If I can engage with a viewer enough for them to wonder what is happening in the painting or to create their own narrative, then I feel I have been successful."
Donna has chosen to share some of her figural work, her black and white drawings, and some animal subjects. If anyone wishes a tactile print you could hold you may contact the artist for signed limited edition prints or possible digital commission at email@example.com
