In Chaldean mythology, Nebo or Nabu was a major god, patron of the written arts and literature. He is a unique god who writes, a god that loves wisdom and communication. Nebo was mentioned in the Bible as he was a widely worshipped "false god" in Sumeria, Assyria, and Babylon, only to be denounced by Prophet Isaiah by introducing his God. Nebo’s "scribe god" reputation even made it to other more familiar literatures such as in Egyptian and Greek mythologies.
