Raised in New Zealand, he has worked as a graphic designer, photographer all to fuel his passion for art and illustration, of which he has worked in an assortment of projects spanning, marketing/advertising and publication, even board games. Working abroad in London, he began to develop a distinctly traditional basis to his work, using traditional use of line, woodblock textures, and muted colour palettes to create serene, and almost nostalgic pieces. Inspired by the likes of Hokusai, Hiroshi Yoshida, and Moebius.

Since then he's been more attuned to a more experimental mindset, with a focus on simpler forms and more dynamic compositions.
