The Interceptor also referred to as the Pursuit Special is the iconic black 1974 Falcon XB GT muscle car featuring a distinctive supercharger driven by the title character MM during much of the franchise. It is regarded as the last of the V8s. This particular reiteration of the iconic muscle car is that which features in MMFR (2015). Spot the easter eggs throughout the environment, some hidden, some in plain sight.

Cinema Cars is a series of digital artworks that depict famous automobiles from cinematic history and immortalise them inside a glass terrarium within a museum space. The environment the vehicle is situated in is just as important - a thriving ecosystem with hidden references from the movie scattered throughout - an abstract depiction of a scene from the world within the movie.

I like many resorted to watching movies as a means to escape the reality of being confined to my apartment over the past year. Cinema is a simple but powerful tool that allows us to forget our daily troubles by getting lost in the stories and worlds that are depicted.

The series plays on that revelation, and also represents a metaphorical aspect to it, with the glass case being an outward manifestation of our confined living situations and the inside environment being the world we create for ourselves.
