Digital Matte Paitning inpired by the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, "Foundation".
This was originally created in August 2020 on a MattePaitnt challenge where I was provided with a plate (base image) and with a few tasks to complete:
- Remove distortion
- Remove chromatic aberration
- Remove noise without destroying too many details
- Finally, grade the image to a later time in the day
- Remove the lens flare spot in the centre of the image
- Change the time of day to a late dusk feeling
- Add glowing space rings!
- Make the tents look more space age
