Cat Girl is the most iconic work of the "Heroines of Frazetta" series and is often considered to be Frank's masterpiece and one of his all time favorite works. Originally featured on the cover of Creepy Magazine #16 in the 1960s, it was changed over time to its current form which is now dated 1984. Frank was often heard saying that Cat Girl would be the last piece he'd ever sell, proving this point by rejecting multiple offers from those who tried buying it from him over the years.
This is one of the few pieces where the paint is layered on so thick that it extends far above the surface - something rarely found in a Frazetta painting. This generally meant that he spent more time on it than normal, allowing the paint to dry and adding more layers on top. Usually he would paint very quickly, thinning the paint by using chemicals to make sure it would dry in time for his deadline. This work was truly one of his favorite pieces, and it hangs proudly in the Frazetta Art Museum in East Stroudsburg, PA.

Frazzeta is an inspiration to me!
Dear Frazetta museum,
first i want to let you know that im a super Frazetta fan...his art had a huge impact on me. Also thank you that you made it possible get the hand on Frazetta Art :D
i will tell you why i did not bought any nfts from the last drop.
as you can see i bought quite a lot of frazetta nfts. i dont get the price and so the drop policy. the best and most iconic paintings are 1/1 nfts...WHY?
also the price went higher and higher...WHY?
for the drop with the agyptian queen you and the frazetta museum would have sold more if you had made it a 50/50 just for the nfts and the 1/1 with the original frazetta print.
also the same with the last drop...why is cat girl a 1/1 ?
and 3000$ for black star and beauty and the beast is far to much...at least for me as a non whale...
But thanks again for the possibility and i whish you all the best for future projects

The more I look at her the more I can’t stop looking at her . 😵💫🤤
I really wanted you Cat Girl, but alas it was not meant to be. Congrats Calypso! I'm a Big fan of Mr. Frazetta, I hope one day to visit the museum in person.
MazingerZ thank you and couldn’t agree more about Frazetta’s work! She will be in good hands with me and already planning to visit her twin sister in PA 🤙🏼
amazing artwork! congrats!
Simply amazing
I love Frazetta. His art had a large impact on me in my earlier days and I've always felt drawn to his work. As much as I'd love to buy several Frazetta NFTs, I am not a fan of the added animation and sound effects.
Thanks for the response. I hope to visit the museum one day!
Thank you so much for the kind words on the impact Frank had on you. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the NFTs. We chose to bring the works to life in a way to distinguish them from the still paintings. Frank loved pushing the boundaries and being a visionary, so we wanted to continue his legacy in this digital world and felt just using the still photo would be unfair to this exciting space. We will keep your consideration in mind!
