This piece is inspired by Pris, the tragic replicant character from cult tech noir legend "Blade Runner". It draws a parallel between her short lived existence (and death at the hands of a blade runner) and the lives of saints who were sacrificed for their belief.
In that same manner, Pris' belief that her kind deserves to not have an expiration date is what brings her downfall.
