“The adoration of the Kings”
NFT Installation in a giant stained glass window as Merry Christmas.
I created this monumental artwork, 12 artworks that make up a single artwork, in a giant NFT. The basic idea was to transform the work into a window made of 12 different glasses resistant to sunlight and atmospheric agents. This is now possible with new technologies that can print decorated glasses that are used in hotels, hospitals, churches, public and private buildings. I was inspired in this circumstance by the Adoration of the Kings by Hugo Van der Goes. It is an oil painting on a table of 147 x 242 cm. , dated 1470 and kept in the Gemaldgalerie of Berlin. Called Altare Monforte was originally a triptych with movable wings later lost. The use of an oil painting in an interior has very different dynamics compared to an element backlit by the sun and seen from a greater distance. It is therefore necessary to operate divisions as did the authors of the windows of the past and use colors that give warmth and life to the work with the backlighting. The work has also been transformed using my exclusive Artificial Intelligence process giving bright colors to enhance its vision at a distance.
