"My mind has once again placed my consciousness inside my dreams. Disconnected from our reality, I have convinced myself that I am at the mercy of my dreams, and total control of my perception is no longer mine. My Mind says, "This is the moment you end, and I begin," taking over the archive of my memories, switching them on and off, transporting me to moments and points in time inside my head. Strangers and friends of past and present, hopes and fears, risings and fallings, hometowns and lands of exile. It's the creation of a new dimension that I didn't know I was capable of making, yet I am the force that made them come to be. It is my own Mind that hides the truth from me, that these worlds are all my doing. The moment I fall asleep, I have to bid farewell to the present reality—I am no longer lying in bed. In fact, what bed? I am fully awake in a strange land. The way I experience my dream tells me one thing. This dream is all too real. I am convinced that this is reality, this is real-time, and there is no reality other than this. How my own mind betrays me and gives me no choice! I am pulled in automatically, without my consent, into a different Earth, natures I can touch, with people I can talk to, with loved ones I can hold (again)—I'm in another world with all my awareness and senses, while I'm convinced that people in my dreams have their own awareness, too. I have no memories of my present reality, because in this moment, the dream I'm having is itself reality."
